Manages steep slopes
Husqvarna Automower® can handle up to 50% slope performance depending on model and if your lawn has really tough slopes you should look into our all-wheel drive model 435X AWD. Our all-wheel drive model can tackle slopes up to an impressive 70% (35˚), which is equal to a black ski slope.
Frost guard
The robotic mower automatically interrupts the mowing schedule in frosty conditions, helping to protect the lawn.
Easy cleaning
You can wash the exterior and underneath of the robotic mower with a garden hose. By using the attached maintenance tool, the cover can easily be removed, for easy cleaning and reachability everywhere.

Automower® Connect app
Thanks to GPS tracking and full connectivity, you can follow your Automower® and update its settings wherever you are. Automower® Connect is featured on all X-Line models. For Automower® models equipped with Connect@ Home (Bluetooth® connection), Automower® Connect Kit is available as an accessory.
*Automower® Connect includes a 10 year mobile data contract. This only applies if a third party provides sufficient mobile coverage in the area.
GPS Assisted Navigation
An onboard GPS system creates a map of the garden, including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. Husqvarna Automower® will then remember which parts of the garden it has covered and adjusts its mowing pattern accordingly. This will ensure optimized lawn coverage and an excellent cutting result.
Weather timer
Adapts the time spend mowing so Automower® works more in periods of strong grass growth and less in dry, sunny weather.
Spiral cutting
When it enters an area with taller grass than average, Automower® will work in a concentrated systematic spiral pattern to even out differences.
Remote object detection
Automower® 450X and 435X AWD use ultrasonic technology to detect objects in the cutting path. The mower slows down to gently bump against the object, turn and continue its work.
Automatic passage handling
All Automower® models can manage passages as narrow as 60 cm. Automatic passage handling makes installation easier and minimizes track marks.

Gardena Smart System works with all products equipped with Automower® Connect supplier of 2G/3G available in the operational area.

It all starts with the durable design; its rubber bumper, reliable ball bearings and brushless motor are all essential components to protect the mower.
Automower® is also equipped with multiple design features that reduces the risk of harm. The central placement of the cutting disk is a conscious design choice to mitigate accidents, as it provides a wide space between the blades and the outer body of the mower. On top of that, Automower® has multiple sensors that detect objects in its cutting path to avoid damage. These sensors ensures that the mower stops, reverses and turns when encountering an obstacle. Models like 450X and 435X AWD even uses ultra-sonic sensors to detect small objects. Furthermore, Automower® blades are not fixed but pivoting – they instantly fold back into the cutting disc when encountering solid objects.
